 MONTHLY CHARACTER TRAIT AWARDS 

SEPTEMBER:  GOOD JUDGEMENT

Choosing worthy goals and setting proper priorities; thinking through the consequences of your actions; and basing decisions on practical wisdom and good sense.

OCTOBER:  RESPECT

Showing high regard for authority, for other people, for self, for property, and for country; and understanding that all people have value as human beings.

NOVEMBER:  CITIZENSHIP

Being an informed, responsible, conscientious, and caring participant in your school community.

DECEMBER:  CARING & KINDNESS

Showing concern for the well being of others. It includes other positive character traits like generosity, empathy, and selflessness.

JANUARY:  FAIRNESS

Treating people and ideas with justice and impartiality.

FEBRUARY:  PERSEVERANCE

Being persistent in the pursuit of worthy objectives in spite of difficulty, opposition, or discouragement; and exhibiting patience and having the fortitude to try again when confronted with delays, mistakes, or failures.

MARCH:  DILIGENCE

Demonstrating persistence, dedication and hard work.

APRIL:  GENEROSITY

Unselfish giving and sharing of resources, time and talents with others.

MAY:  COURAGE

Displaying integrity in spite of obstacles and challenges.

 YEARBOOK:  Forager
