It was a great day of team & friendship building, unity, community, and student leadership. This idea was driven by student leaders at LSA. They assisted in helping find areas of need, organize and lead student groups at each site.

Community Service is a graduation requirement. LSA was proud to organize this event to assist our students in earning community service hours.

What does Collaboration Look Like At LSA?

One of LSA's approaches to teaching and learning is the idea that academics and arts go hand in hand. We work the arts into academic classes like Math, English and Social Studies, as well as putting these same topics in the center of an art class. Above is an example. Mrs. Guerrier's dance classes and Ms. Rathjen's biology classes learn about movement and meiosis.
